Christmas is such a great time of the year! Spending time with family and friends, reliving great holiday memories, and creating new ones are so meaningful to me. I see how excited my clients are as baby’s first Christmas approaches.

Here are a few ideas to make your baby’s first Christmas memorable.

  • Select an adorable stocking – This stocking will be under your tree or on your mantle for years, so choose one that you love and your baby will cherish.

  • Splurge on Christmas pajamas – What can increase the cuteness factor on Christmas morning more than your baby in snuggly holiday PJs?

  • Hang a keepsake ornament – Your baby will have only one first Christmas, so commemorate it with a special ornament. The memories of this Christmas will flood back every year you hang this ornament on the tree.

  • Create a Christmas card – This is a perfect opportunity to showcase your baby on the holiday card. Either having baby alone or the entire family on the card, you are sure to score with family and friends!

  • Visit Santa – Your baby does not understand who Santa is, but you do, and it makes for an adorable photo. Grandparents will love this!

  • Start a family tradition – This could be a tradition carried over from your childhood or a new one you start with your baby. Reading the same holiday book each year, watching a favorite holiday show…whatever works for your family!

  • Take lots of photos – Need I say more?! Images of your little one on Christmas morning will be lifetime treasures.

Merry Christmas!

What other ideas do you have for making baby’s first Christmas special? Please, share.
