Talking Tails: Gilmore Dog Walking Cakes

Welcome back to our Friday Feature! This fall, I will be featuring a female owned small business offering great holiday gift options. Today I am excited to an awesome new, family owned small business, Gilmore Dog Walking & Bakery, offering pet services and dog baked goods! Shelley has been baking the cakes for our puppy birthday sessions!

Shelley shared with me, “My love for animals began at 3 years old. We adopted a gorgeous Russian Blue cat named T.C and a Golden Retriever puppy, we later named Rocket! I cannot remember a time in my life I did not have dogs, cats, lizards, ETC. Currently we have 5 dogs, a beautiful Siamese cat, a lizard named Arnold and a betta fish!

My fiance and I have been caring for dogs and cats since 2017 as a hobby and decided to start an LLC in 2020! Like most of us, quarantine gave us a new perspective on life! We wanted to turn our love for pets into a career we loved! Shortly after, I started making dog cakes and treats! This whole experience has been a blast and I am grateful to be a part of this CLT community! We have seen so much support with starting our new, small business! Thank you!”
