Welcome back to Talking Tails!
We have the scoop on Charlotte’s Largest Ever Pet Adoption Event! Over the course of three days (September 18-20), 252 homeless animals crossed the finish line into new loving homes. That’s right, we said 252 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens!! Twenty rescues and shelters joined the Humane Society of Charlotte to make this possible. All of photos from the event can be viewed on the Mega 500 Adopt-a-Thon's Facebook page. Our Mom was at the event all three days. She was honored to photograph each of the animals adopted along with their human. The sweet and touching stories that she shared with us after each day of the event made us feel so good. She told us about cute dogs, tired puppies, adorable kittens, beautiful cats, excited children, loving owners, and lots and lots of happiness!
Plans are already underway for the 2016 MegaAdoption Event!
