Baby Talk - 10/16/15

I think you would agree that an infant dressed up for Halloween is just so adorable. I have so much fun capturing these little costumed cuties in mini-studio sessions. This year the Halloween mini-sessions are scheduled for Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to create a treasure that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Here are a few ways to celebrate Halloween with your little one.

  • Read some Halloween books – There are lots of great Halloween books that you can read to baby. I have seen some books that are touch-and-feel and others that are scratch-and-sniff. What a great way to introduce baby to Halloween!
  • Go pick some pumpkins – Fall is a wonderful season. We are past the heat and humidity of summer and not yet to the cold of winter. Crisp air, fall colors, hot cider….what is not to love. Add to this some family time in the pumpkin patch and you have a perfect day!
  • Get a super cute costume – There are so many cute costumes to pick from! Buy it, make it, borrow it, order it online, but whatever you do make sure it is comfortable for baby. It should fit well, especially if baby is walking.
  • Have fun – However you spend Halloween, make it fun family time. Trick-or-treating, extended family party, play group get-together, local activities (e.g., mall, zoo, church) are all super ways to celebrate Halloween.

Do you have other tips on how to enjoy Halloween with you little one? Please, share!
