“Pregnancy reveal” on social media is very popular with many of my mommies-to-be. Creating each “reveal” story to reflect the personalities of the parents is so enjoyable, particularly knowing how much happiness it brings to their families and friends. It is such an honor that my clients allow me create these special stories.
Below are some excited big brothers and sisters who “revealed” on social media.
Creatively designing your announcement is so much fun. Here are a few things to consider when developing your unique “reveal.”
- Be true to yourself. Are you bold? Subtle? Edgy? Do you prefer simple/clean or fancy/color? Express your news in a way that reflects who you are.
- Include older siblings. A new baby is exciting for everyone in the family. Have your little one sport a shirt or hold a sign indicating s/he will soon be a big sister or a big brother or that time is running out on being an only child.
- Don’t forget your pets. Including your furry friend in your special news can make for a darling picture.
- Use ordinary items with a twist. Mini chalkboards, signs, balloons, onesies, and shoes are a few things that can be used creatively in your “reveal.”
